The CCM is formed of Senior Level representatives drawn from the public, non-public and development partners, constituencies to Serve voluntarily at the CCM board. The Global Fund requires all CCM members representing non-government constituencies to be elected by their own constituencies based on a documented, transparent process, developed within each constituency.
The CCM Governance Manual also provides that each Constituency should have its own selection criteria, election/nomination protocols (See Clause 2.2 of the Governance Manual March,2021), which should be agreed upon by constituency members and communicated to the CCM Secretariat in addition to the standard election guidelines provided by the CCM.

Uganda Country Coordinating Mechanism for the Global Fund to fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria (UCCM)
Renewal of UCCM Board Membership 2024 – 2026
The Uganda Country Coordinating Mechanism for Global Fund Grants (UCCM) is notifying stakeholders in the fight against HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria to participate in the forthcoming selection of representatives to the UCCM. Stakeholders are encouraged to participate in the election of representatives that will be responsible for providing oversight over Global Fund grants implementation in Uganda for the 2024 – 2026 Board tenure.
The UCCM is seeking wider participation and high-quality representation from the non-governmental sector, that includes civil society groups and the private sector, and is calling upon the constituencies listed below to hold elections for their representatives accordingly.
- Civil Society Organizations (National NGOs) – 1 substantive member and 1 alternate member
- Civil Society Organizations (International NGOs) – 1 substantive member and 1 alternate member
- People living with HIV & those affected by Tuberculosis and Malaria – 3 substantive members and 3 alternate members (1 substantive and 1 alternate for HIV, 1 substantive and 1 alternate for TB, & 1 substantive and 1 alternate for Malaria)
- Key Affected Populations (KAPs) – 1 substantive member and 1 alternate member
- Research, Academia, Science and Professional Associations– 1 substantive member and 1 alternate member
- Faith Based Organizations (FBOs) – 1 substantive member and 1 alternate member
- The Private Sector – 1 substantive member and 1 alternate member
The UCCM is also seeking to renew the representation of Young People and Refugees in its Oversight committees through the election of 3 representatives for Young People and 2 representatives for Refugees.
